How to Create DTP for Standard BC (Update Rule)?

Hi Gentlemen,

in our system SAP BI 7, i activated some Plant Maintenance BC.

now i got Standard Update Rule (0PM_DS02 80PM_DS01) with Technical name (8DIFXEG1PSJ5A57OYJ5SWA2NW).

i want to utilize the BC (Update Rule, Source and Target). The problem that there is no Standard BC (DTP) for this Update Rule.

there are virtual key figures that are calculated during transformation from source to target.

My Question:

How Can i create DTP for Standard BC Update Rule that Does not have Standard BCT?

The solution that i need is to create transofrmation for the update rule.

Hi Farhan ,

for BI Content , you wont get Standard DTP.. you ned to do the following procedure..

just leave that Update Rules and what are the conversions i mean formulas and routines.. used in update rules.. those all you can write in TRANSFORMATION RULES.. fisrt select your Datasource( Bi content ds) and now select your cube and create Transformations from that datasource.. and write the conversion routines for new fields.. and activate it..

and again you need to create DTP with that same datasource.. avtivate it.. and execute that DTP..

For any DTP you need to have "Transformation" active. This is mandatory. You would need to convert update rules/transfer rules to Transformation using "Migration"
