How to choose whether we have to use ABAP proxy or IDoc adapter or RFC adapter for R/3 systems?

If scenario is syncronous, use RFC

If it is async and for ur Message Idoc is available, use Idoc adapter

Proxy could be more robust option is WAS >= 6.2. Proxy also supports attchments.

    Regards,

    Prateek
