Hello,
I currently installed an SAP Best Practice Package containing SAP ERP 2005 ECC 6.0.
Where can I find out the Password of the default user account SAP* for client 000?
Best regards,
Manuel
Hi Manuel,
Normally client 000 SAP* password will be the password which you will give while installation.
And if you don't remember the password, yuo can delete SAP* user at database level using SAPSR3.USR02 table.
And after deletion you will be able to use SAP* with password pass.

Hello,
Perhaps in your installation it didn't ask you for a new password.
In that case, the initial password for users:
SAP* = 06071992
DDIC = 19920706
Still, you might not be able to login as SAP*.
In that case, stop your SAP system, change the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to be 0 (default is 1 these days).
Then start the system and try logging in as SAP*.
Hope this helps.
Daniel
