Technical content ** NW 2004s ** Please help

Hi,

When i check the reports of the technical content, i can only see the the Techcnical name of the Info Package.

Even if i choose display as " Key & Text " still unable to see the Ipak descreption in the report.

I have checked old 3.X statistics, i think, its the same issue there aswell.

You will get only the tech name of the inofpackage in those queries but not the description given by us.

Thanks for the reply.

But, its really not useful to identify the load using InfoPackage technical name.

i.e. if we are doing many loads from one Info Source.

Or, is there any alternative?

Hi Nisha,

Please make sure that you have loaded master data - text for 0TCTBWOBJCT.

Then you will get the description when you choose key & text in QD.

Yes, i am loading attributes and text for 0TCTBWOBJCT.

But, when i have maintained the master data of 0TCTBWOBJCT, i couldn't find the BW object type Info Package in there.

Please advise.

Hi Nisha,

You need to run the 0tctprcsvar_text infopackage to load the master data. Before running the master load apply note 1088038.

I am loading 0tctprcsvar_text infopackage daily.

But, havn't applyed 1088038 note. Do you think, that would make any difference?

I have applied the SAP Note 1088038 and tried loading 0tctprcsvar_text.

When i have checked in PSA, i can see the descreption of the Ipak.

But, if i maintain the master data and see that, the long descreption is blank.

Its not getting populated.

Hi Nisha,

Can you just check the setting of the infopackage. Is that only till PSA. Incase it is only till PSA change make to change to move the data to the target.

Hi Srilatha,

When i said, i can see the data in PSA but not getting loaded, i ment...

I can see all other data, but only that particular field is not getting updated.

So, obviously, the setting in Ipak is set to PSA & Data target.
