How to find which Fiscal year is open for Asset

Hi

i would like to know how can one find out which fiscal year is open for the Asset Accounting.

When i am changing the fiscal year thro' AJRW, i am not able to find out which fiscal year has to be opened and which one is closed and the the fiscal which i am changing has been opened or not bcoz the system is runing n backround job.......

Hi Praveen,

I think people has already answered your question.

go in t-code OAAQ and if you see 2006 against your co.code it means that 2006 yr is closed and 2007 yr is open for that co.code in Asset Accounting. Now even if you dont go in OAAQ, but run AJRW for fiscal yr 2006, your test run would be blank. Now try running AJRW for yr 2007 and you will see some statistics in your test run which means that its open yr so even AJRW will tell you in test mode which year is closed and open.

OB52 is to check which posting periods are open for Asset Accounting.

Hi Praveen,

I have seen our friends answering, but a bit more insight to your questions. See if it helps.

To see which FY is Open for Assets:

1. From FI Perspective: OB52.

2, From AA Perspective:

Our Friends mentioned OAAQ, But OAAQ shows which FY is Closed but not which FY you are in. Asset MGMT has got the feasibility to have 2 FY open.

Ex: if you see in OAAQ as 2005 for your company code, it might mean that either 2006 and 2007 is also be OPEN (Only for AA).

There are many ways to find out the current AA FY.But the simplest way is from table. So if you want to c which FY is your AA module is: Go to table T093C and execute for you company code. Check for Field "Current FYear"(LGJAHR).
