Archiving Write job failed without error in job log

Hi,

IDOC write job is failing without any error. I checked ST22 , File system has space and also TemSe.

I have never seen such situation, and based on your description I believe it has nothing to do with the IDoc archiving program itself, rather a general problem like no memory.

Talk to your basis admins for investigation, maybe other jobs running at the same time failed as well.

In Job Overview status is canceled and also successful job log states something similar to below -

Job started Step 001 started (program RSEXARCA, variant ZJP_2015_04_03, user ID Z002KXH)

Archiving session 000674 is being created

Path: /archive/write_files/IDOC/

Name for new archive file: IDOC_20170822_075809_0.Z002KXH

Name for new archive file: IDOC_20170822_080841_0.Z002KXH

Number of Archived IDocs: 35.355

Job finished

how do you know that the write job failed?

Is this somewhere written, e.g. in SM37 Job Overview?

Or do you just assume that the job failed because nothing got archived?
