    Hi Caroline,

I`ll try to guess, as you do not mention which specific 'custom fields' you have in mind, and if their purpose is purely to filter the selection of materials that go into the work-list. Generally, the requirement to extend the work-list for product classification selection criteria with new fields can be easily handled via generic product attributes. This is controlled in customizing, where you have the options to have up to 5 fields of a set length each - ie 5 custom fields with length 1 character, 5 fields with length 10, etc. You can name the fields in customizing as well, in the same IMG path. Once this is defined, every transaction selection screen that relates to a product will have these new fields available for selection - not only classification work-list TC, but also product display TC, etc..

Its not immediately clear how are you planning to populate these fields (?). If you choose to use the additional product attributes, whey are usually transferred with the material itself during material master distribution from ECC. A user exit implementation on the ECC feeder system side is necessary to populate them properly and send across to GTS where they will be mapped according to customizing mentioned at the beginning.

    Hope this helps.

    Branio

    Hi Caroline,

Unfortunately there's no standard solution to meet your requirement. I think you'll have to use a Code Enhancement or other "hack" to add your additional columns.
