Request date in MD04 from Supplying plant & Receiving plant in STO scenario

Current scenario: I have an intercompany STO scenario where the PO was created on 15.08.2017. Requirement request date in MD04 for supplying plant is: 24.08.2017, where as it is 25.08.2017 for the receiving plant.

User Requirement: User wants to have a gap between these two dates. User shared a case with desired dates where the difference between them is 2 weeks.

Could you please let me know, on what parameters do these dates in MD04 depend for supplying as well as the receiving plant?

What a wonderful situation, you should talk to each other. Your questions are next to each other under the MM tag.

One has a gap between the delivery dates and does not want it, and the other has no gap and wants it.

You should talk to each other and compare your settings in the material master, and explain your system setup, whether you are just doing MM movements or STOs with deliveries, if you use shipments and routes.
