Hi..

Can we Copy the standard reports and modify them according to our requirements?

Hi,

Yes you can.

But

Consider making your changes as a repair or enhancement to the standard program instead of copying it. That way, any future support packs that affect the program will show up in SPAU so you can check the impact on your changes.

If you copy the program - support changes are not applied to your copy which can result in issues like data corruption in the future.

Yes we can.

But for few standard reports, they are very complex & in turn call some other standard reports.

So check for any sap note/enhancements/exits if that meets your requirement.

Hi,

Yes you can do that.

Go to se 38-> give the standard report name-> select copy -> give z report name.

save it and activate it.

At the time copying the standard report care has to be taken for Includes exists in the standard reports.

Those includes also have to be copied to the z includes.

copy them to a zreport and modify it according to your need

in some cases, you may need to copy the includes as well
