Number Range for Business partner--id

Hi all,

I want to tweak number range for business partner id's.

Is it possible to change them ????

For example, I want all Organizational Units are starting as of Business Partner number 1. All Business Partner of type Person, I want to start as of 100.

Hi Remy

Please navigate to below path in Solution Manager and click on the highlighted activity

Now simply create as per your requirement and if you need further documentation click on the documentation icon next to activity to understand...how you can create internal or external no. range for org model

also,

Go to SAP CRM IMG-> CRM->Masterdata-> BusinessPartner->Integration BP-Org Management-> Setup Integration with Org management

Maintain something like below

HRALX     HRAC     X     Activate HR Integration

HRALX     OBPON     ON     Integration O-BP Activated

HRALX     ONUMB     2      Business Partner Number Assignment (Org. Unit)

HRALX     OSUBG     (The NumberRange which u have created for your org)     Business Partner Subgroup (Organizational Unit)

Hi Remy

Yes, you can do it.

1. Define a number range.

2. Maintain a  Business Partner grouping. (since grouping determines the number range)

3. Link number range to a grouping.

4. Now when business partner will be created, it will pick up the number range that you have assigned (external, in your case).
