New plant creation

Hi,

scenario

client wants to start new plant in diff. state to meet his bussiness requirement which will be having same functionality like current plant

and...which master data required to upload in new plant..MM,VM,Source list,info records..etc

as plant is in diff. state excise point of view any suggestion....how to do initioal stock trasfer from old plant to new plant...

Pls mention step by step

    Hi,

    You can copy the setting of your previous plant then change like as storage location in the new plant.

    In excise assign excise group with your new plant.

    Assign your new plant with co code

    assign jurisdiction code of that state.

    MM : only you need to extend the material at plant level ( BDC/LSMW/SCAT). extend all material for new storage location tcode MMSC_MASS

    VM : not required

    source list : tcode ME01 or run the SCAT

    Info record upload all master data through BDC/LSMW/SCAT.
