Good day.
We are currently configuring ChaRM SolMan 4.0 SPS 12.
We found that after a developer has created a Change Request, he can also approve it!
How do we prevent this from occurring? Is this done via authorizations? If so, what authorization objects are used?
Thank you,
Charles.
Hi,
Please take a look at the following link.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/cd/603542e454b104e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
Is this what you are asking?
Thanks,
Robert

Robert!
Role SAP_SOCM_PROCESS is exactly what we're looking for.
Our test user was able to create a Change Request, but was unable to Approve. An error message was even generated.
Thanks for your help!
Charles.

Thanks for the Link Robert.
We don't appear to have role SAP_CM_REQUESTER in our system. We did however assign role SAP_SOCM_REQUESTER to our test user.
Unfortunately, using the role assigned, the Requester can still approve his own Change Request. BUT!!! No change document gets created.
How would we prevent him from Approving the Change Request altogether?
Thanks for your help!
Charles.
