As suggested by bala, you will end up having an .epa file in ur hard disk. you can use this in Import option of the Target Portal system to import tyhe contents.

Instead of storing it on the local folder, there is a browse option, you may want to use that to safe the files remotely.

Hi Liza,
Navigate to System Administration - Transport- Export- Portal Content
Rt Click "New" Transport Package.
First create the transport package. Then include the content which is required.
Then select the "Export" Option.
The file is created which is going to be stored \usr\sap\<SID>\sys\global\pcd\Export.
The file name is <date>_<time>_<package name>.epa or <date>_<time>_<package>.pkg
Upto EP 5.0 the file name extension is .pkg. From EP 6.0 onwards the extension is .epa.
