XI and high volume of transactions

Hi !

Does anybody has information about large amounts of transactions and XI, not exactly, maybe just an idea of small (10k-100k) messages per hour that it is capable of, with proper sizing. Maybe you can share your own experience.

Thanks !!

Regards,

Matias.

    Hi

    Just refer these

    maximum-permitted-file-size-in-xi

    payload-size

SIZE OF THE MESSAGE WHICH XI CAN HANDLE.

Sizing XI 3.0 will be available for customers and partners in the Quick Sizer (http://service.sap.com/quicksizing). The sizing guidelines include an initial and an advanced sizing based on different possible scenario definitions.

All you need to create a sizing project is a valid SAP customer number and access to the Service Marketplace.

Dont know whether this would help

Performance monitoring will give you the number of messages has been processed through XI.

Yes! Just put the value in parameter "sender service" and "receiver service" and you will get the number of message processed and size of the message.

We have not seen any problems upto 5MB of msgs bt above it, XI has problems of performance & it may lead to server down but max msg size is something which totally depends on server hardware. However msgs upto 10-100k should not be problem at all . (Keeping in mind without BPM). Also custom modules will degrade the performace of system.
