vertical and horizontal form printing

how can we print vertically and horizontally on the same page in a smartform?

hi,

One thing is for sure that we can set the orientation as either portrait or

landscape , but as said by Mr. Kare this does not bear any relation &

its very correct, but such a requirement can be fulfilled, i am not very sure

about it , i will try & let you know. Thank you.

If u wnat to print just some characters vertically then create then put all the characters of the word in different text .

You mean the output should print in Portrait or Landscape format.

We can do this setting in SmartForms

IN Pages and Window folder --->

New Page folder --> Output Options Tab

we have Portrait or Landscape format radio buttion.

Hi,

i don't think we can do so in smartforms. If u can go for adobe forms, you can definitely do it.

If you want only with smartforms there is a little way, of course u may find it silly

make an image of that text and print it.

If you want to print some parts horizontally., you can use the Append Directly

of textelements to do the same

Please elaborate if you need more information

I have selected landscape mode for printing. but I want a line to be printed portrait on the right side of the paper.

As said earlier there is no direct option and logic to print data in vertical way. this has noting to with page format.....please if any body has a solution please tell us.

As far as i knew we wont be able to print data vertically we will be able to print in only horizontal direction.
