I am currently asked by my manager to conduct a research on SAP ESS integration with mobile phones.

We have staff members who are located of site.

It has become difficult to submit the Timesheet and Leave application.

I would like some help on the following:

1. Would it be possible to integrate SAP ESS on mobile phones?

2. Is there a way that we can use url link for the staff to access SAP ESS?

THANK YOU.

Hi Olwethu

If you are using ESS/MSS application from Portal, you can definitely use it via Mobile Phones.

Refer to the below KBA's which will give you more information about the same.

  1. 1995454 - Central Portal Browser Support for Portal Mobile & Desktop
  2. 2503017 - Fiori framework page (FFP) replaces Mobile Framework Page (MFP)
  3. 2466245 - SAP Mobile Browser Support for fiori FLP
