We are building an E-commerce web store for a Grocery chain. The way inventory is managed is :
Inventory is based on the item number. If the product is coke - then the inventory is based on the product item number - coke. In the Ecommerce store coke would be sold in packs - 6 pack, 12 pack, 24 pack. Each pack has a bar code and is linked to the same item number. Each bar code will have a price associated with it. Since inventory is maintained at the inventory level in the backend SAP S4 Retail system - what innovative ways do we have to show the inventory at the pack / bar code level on the web store? What are the best practices for this scenario? - Raghu
