Using a ODS as a DataMart - Performance issue's?

Hello Experts,

I am planning to use an ODS as a DataMart feeding to another ODS.The ODS that I am using as an DataMart is just a staging ODS and no reports are based on this ODS.This ODS(which I am planning to use as a Datamart) is currently feeding data to an InfoCube on which reports are based.

Would there be any Performance degradation when we use an ODS as a DataMart?
