Restrict Tables using Auth Group ?

Hi,

I have few HR , FI and MM tables, whose access I have to give to my user.

I created new Auth Group (SU54) and added these tables to it ,then using S_Tabu_Disp, i have given access to that group to my users.

Problem I am facing is , a table cannot be in 2 groups simultaneously and so I have to change existing Auth. Group of few tables and due to that , some users which were having access to those tables via other auth. Group , now lost access to the tables.

I cannot do it using S_tabu_nam

why can't you use s_tabu_nam?

Put the tables that belong to 2 groups into a 3rd one.

Thanks for reply.

Is there any method to do without using S_tabu_nam

Yes.. put each table in a unique auth group. It will be the equivalent of auth group = table. You can then use s_tabu_dis

Why can't you use s_tabu_nam?
