How to include copy of KPI Tile in a custom catalog in SFIN 1503

Hello Experts,

We have implemented Fiori apps in a SFIN 1503 on-premise edition (SP05) in a central hub setup. We require to activate some of the available KPI based Analytical apps as well. For this we have created copies of the standard KPI and evaluation and newly created the tiles within the evaluation.

On the tile creation screen as shown below we do not see any option to select a catalog within which we want to place the custom created KPI tile, when ever we create the tile and activate it the tile gets created in the standard remote catalog /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TC_R.

We have 2 problems due to this:

1. The standard catalog contains all the KPI tiles but we only want the users to see the KPIs that are relevant to the project, the extra ones should not be visible.

2. At run time when the users open the App Finder and navigate to the SAP: KPIs catalog they can see the standard KPI tile as well as the copied tile that we have created. We want that only the copied tile should be visible.

My question is what is the best way to handle this so that the user sees only the copied tile and not the standard tile in addition?

I still haven't found any way to add tiles within the copies of the standard KPIs that we create into a custom catalog instead of the standard remote catalog /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TC_R

We have a S/4HANA 1610 system in our internal landscape and in this when we create a Tile in a copied KPI we explicitly get the field Catalog where we can select the catalog within which the Tile being created will be placed.

I am basically looking for some confirmation whether catalog selection is actually possible or not while creating a KPI tiles in SFIN 1503 systems.

1. Instated of using standard Kpi's catalogs for that particular project u can create one custom catalog and assign all Kpi tiles into that particular catalog as per ur req.In such case the extra ones should not be visible.

Hi Rajesh,

As I have already mentioned according to the screen shot in my original post, I do not see any option for selecting catalog while creating the KPI Tile. I have created a custom remote catalog but I don't know where I can make the KPI Tile present in the custom catalog instead of the standard one.
