Hi Experts!

In FI extraction How to do stock initialization in BI,

I 've generated DS @R3 side,then what is the procedure to load initial stock into cube?

I 've generated another DS BF/UM, for these DS do we 've need any DSO, if we need what is the suitable DSO for these later DS?

I' ve got some docs but that are related to BW,

Can anyone pls tell me hw to work on these?

Can u name the DS name u have generated in FI for Stock Initialization ??

If i understd u correctly, ur talking about 2lis_03_bx then

BW Side

Replicate the DS

Create Infopackage and Extract Init data upto PSA (Its one time Activity)

Activate/Cretae BC Cube or ZCube

Create the Transformations

Create DTP Extract and Extract to data to Datatarget and Compress the CUbe with 'Marker update'

Creating ODS or Not .. Its Completely Depends on your client reqmnt .. if u want to see detailed level reports then Create ODS for that..

Hi Srinivas!

while creating tranformation, i,e m creating TR from 0lis_03_bx --->0ic_c03,

there is unmatched objects is there from both side(DS& C),

my Q is how to do successful transforation?

Hi,

Can u tell what are the missing objects ?

If u dont have all the fields Cube which are there in Datasource .. Search the corresponding info objects in Business Content, if they are not available in BC then u can create Zobjects and add them to Cube and map them in Transformations

As i already told in ur previous thread

SE16--> RSOSFIELDMAP --> Enter DS --> and Enter Filed name .. here u can find the Corresponding InfoObject

If u dont require some fields in the DS , Dont map them in Transformations

U can Map the Fileds only which u want..
