I am currently working on a Non - Lo extractor which is delta capable
Assuming in source(SAP ECC) we have 20000 records
1 .Executed Info package without data transfer update mode and brought 0 records to bw
system and delta enabled (Created an entry in RSA7).
2. If i execute IP with "Delta", will it bring all 20000 records ?
Hello;
The delta init without data transfer allow you to open the delta queue (in source system -> RSA7).
Any new or change will generate the delta afterwards.
The existing data in the source before the delta init without data transfer (all 20000 records) will not be loaded.
In order you load them, you can create a IP Full.
Hope it helps;

Thanks for the quick response Ricardo.
So in this case after I execute Init without data transfer whatever the records created/posted in the source system(ECC) , only those records will be extracted in the delta load right?
Can you also please clarify the below questions.
1.After executing Init , can we run full (not repair full ) .
2.can we have multiple init Info packages (with different selections ) for a single data source ?
Thanks in advance!!
Can you also please clarify the below questions.
1.After executing Init , can we run full (not repair full ) . --> After executing INIT, there is no need to run a full, If you ran init with out data transfer to set the delta pointer , then to load the historical load you can run a full IP. Repair full to load the missed delta entries.
2.can we have multiple init Info packages (with different selections ) for a single data source ? Yes, but there is no need to create multiple info packages with different selections. Once you run the INIT for one selection and its completed, make use of the same IP with different selection.
