SRM 5.0 - Contract section for limit invoice only items?

Hi all,

I am on SRM 5.0 (SRM SERVER 5.50 SP 9) in Extended classic and have noticed when creating limit carts of type 'invoice only' that the contract section is available.

I have been told by SAP previously this section was disabled for invoice only carts as the item was effectively a 'mini-contract' so contracts should not be permitted. The contract section was always only there for 'confirmation & invoice' carts (service item category).

Does anyone know if this has been deliberately setup by SAP or whether the contract section appearing now on my SP level is a bug?
