ABUMN - Mssg. "Asset is investment measure, Transaction Type not allowed"

While performing the Transaction Code - ABUMN (Enter Asset Transaction : Transfer within Company Code) I am receiving the following message No. AK 005 " Asset is investment measure, Transaction Type not allowed ". The Diagnosis of the same says " Asset No. XXXXXXX that is to be posted is an investment measure. You are not allowed to post transactions that affect acquisition value using the current transaction."

Procedure :

"Check the asset and Transaction Type 300 "

Can someone please look into this and help me on this.

Hi

The target asset is an Investment Measure. Try to check in t-code : OAOA whether the asset class of the target asset is set to "Investment Measure".

If so, then you cannot post directly to the asset which asset class is "Investment Measure". The Investment Measure only allow post from WBS element or internal order.

My suggestiion is : change your target asset when you do ABUMN. Do not use Investment Measure type for your target asset.
