Error Due to Upgrade - Query Designer and Report Designer

Hi,

We are testing the Upgraded System for Upgrade from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0.

We have errors in Executing Queries on the Query Designer as well as Report Designer.

The Query does not execute in the Query Designer. It Opens an IE page and says "Service cannot be reached”.

The Report Designer Gives an Error “Server could not find Metadata”. The client System is not Unicode, Switching on the Unicode Indicator would not help.

If you have any suggestions on resolution of these errors; Please do write back. Would appreciate your response.
