Solved: Enhancement Spot

Hi abapers!!

I'm new to ECC 6.0, and I've found that there's a new option in SE18 called Enhancement Spot.

Could any of you give me an intro on what are they? what's the advantage on using them?

I appreciate any info you can give me.

Hi Jesus,

it is a highly complex new way for what was user exits or badis before. Using enhancement spots you can put your own code directly between sap code lines. I think this concept does not really have too much future. It is confusing because you have customer enhancements and SAP enhancements at the same time.

There are some 20 or 30 pages of SAP documentation. My personal recommendation: Avoid and forget!.
