Embedded S4H EWM - PP Integration production supply

Hi Gurus,

I wonder if anyone has experiences in integrating production supply from EWM in embedded EWM system.

Currently I tried using production material request (PMR), but i am facing issues at staging.

Does anyone know if PMRs are still used in embedded EWM? When checking help.sap for EWM 9.4, i only see models based on deliveries.

Thanks in advance,

Nico

    Hello,

what issues are you facing? In S/4HANA embedded EWM both integration scenarios (delivery based and advanced production integration) are available. If you check the documentation, you have search a little bit, because it is unpleasantly split, one is under goods issue, the other under advanced production integration.

Check for EWM courses @ https://training.sap.com/curriculum/scm_ewm

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

    • Hi Nico,

Nevertheless DMP and DMS are not filled with date, but i am not sure if this needs to be filled or not.-> It will fill when you run successfully staging transaction.

Check the Link for "All staging proposal quantities are 0; no staging needed"

Consumption posting in EWM 1> start application Consumption by Production; in the NWBC menu, navigate to Execution ->Consumption by Production  Consumption by Production 2>Post Consumption by Production (EWM) - RF Environment ( Outbound Processes -> Consumption -> Consumption by Manufacturing Order)->"Do you know which transaction to use to book goods issue for order in ewm (TR which is not from business suite)?"

Please let us know if you have further queries.

      Kind Regards,

      Ajit
