how to copy layoutsets between servers

hi experts ,

<b>i have to copy the layoutset from D10 server client 010 to D40 Sever 020 client.</b>

what is the procedure for it .is it requires CTS to copy.

If you must go around servers, then it is best to use the transport system to do so.

You can follow like this .

GOTO SE38->RSTXSCRP->execute

Object name - form name ->execute

change the file name as .txt

are you maintaing english language in SE71 and please give language EN in RSTXSCRP Program

while importing into other clinet use IMPORT Option

this method will not work if you want to import into production or Quality.

Best thing would be ,if you have transport system between two systems then you can create transport request at source system then release request into traget system.
