Netweaver and HRSP Patching Plan Suggestion

Hi All,

We have a requirement to update the patch level of SAP Netweaver 7.40 SP 13 to SP15 and also the HRSP components EA_HR and SAP_HR.

Last time (4 months ago), I did the HRSP Patching only with SPAM tool.
However this time we have this additional requirement to update the SAP NW 7.4 SP Patch.

So my question is, can we do this by SPAM or do I have to use the SUM Tool as mandatory.

All of your valuable suggestions are much appreciated.

Read SAP note 1803986 - Rules to use SUM or SPAM/SAINT to apply SPs for ABAP stacks as it has the information about the tool usage.
