ALPHA conversion routine in 2004s

Hi everybody!

We are facing a strange situation in our customer, where alpha-conversion routine is missing from info-object 0PROFIT_CTR. We would naturally want to return it. For possible conversion of transaction data, we checked for the transaction RSMDCNVEXIT but it ended up with message "Data conversion functions are no longer supported".

What is the right way to change in 2004s a conversion routine for an info-object in a productive system? Is the only way to empty master data and data targets and load the data again after the change? Or is there a error correction possibility in RSRV?
