When you label a tape, it´s gets also an "expiration" date so it´s can´t be inadvertently overwritten.

That date is not yet reached on your tape and thus you can´t backup to it. If you want to overwrite the tape, you need to re-label it.

Hi,

Can you please let me know what will be the values to change in the profile parameter init<DBSID>.sap for this.

I do not want to relabel it as it is not allowing me to do so.

Is there any parameter to be changed in the particular profile.

Regards,

to force a re-label:

brbackup -i force
