How to configure service desk solman 4.0

I have to configure service desk but don't know how to link with SLA.

I have created the response and date profile but which business transaction i have to use.........do i have to create a new <b>Z</b> business transaction

Please help me and eloborate more using detailes steps which needs to be carried out.
