BI 7.0 Process Chain Document : How to Create ?

Hello BW folks ,

Do anyone have any document on how to create process chain in BI7.0 ?

I am getting lot of problems while creating process chain in BI7.0.

RSPC-- > crete a new chain..

and take the start proces.. > create variant> and give the chain start times...

and next take which process type .

Infopackage --> and then in that select ur info package which you want to put.( that was loading data from source to PSA).

take DTP process--> it will load the data from PSA to Data Target Cube..

and save the chain.. and activate it..

schedule it..

Just small clarrification...where u stucked.. and what problem u r getting...

for creating use the same procedue which we folowed in 3.5..itself..

BUT THE THING ADDITINALLY IN bi 7.0 WE HAVE LOT OF PROCESS TYPES ARE THERE...

just goto RSPC-- > crete a new chain..

and take the start proces.. > create variant> and give the chain start times...

and next take which process type you want.. for example..

take Execute Infopackage --> and then in that select ur info package which you want to put.( that was loading data from source to PSA).

take DTP process--> it will load the data from PSA to Data Target ODS or Cube..

and take ACTIVATE DSO..--> here you need to give ur DSO name..

and save the chain.. and activate it..

schedule it..
