Overtime Configuration

i didnt get ur query..? u mean to ask calculation of over time or paymernt of over time?

to calculate O.T there is already standard sub schema TW 15, TW30

for payments u need to maintain the wage types in valuation basis table V_512W_B and give the valuation basis as 01 and maintain the % as 150 or 200 depending on the payment u want ...

Hi Rama,

I want to pay the overtime through the infotype 2010. And the overtime is equal to basic+ HRA.

Now i want to know the configuration steps like......where to create the wage type and how it is to be liked to the basic and hra.

hai..

ur entering over time in terms of hours? in 2010 IT.. In that case maintain processing class 1 and specification 1 for both basic pay & HRA wage type..

I have created a wage type called overtime payment in infotype 2010.

Now please tell me what are the next configuration is required if the overtime payment is equal to Basic+HRA.

Hi Ram,

How are you? if you rememeber you solved my this problem..im very thankful to you.

now, im facing one problem...in overtime calculation again...actually the system always calculate the overtime on the basis of Monthly working hours entered in infotype 0008 but as you know the working hours are different in every month, so can you tell me how to tackle this problem??

My client is calculating overtime by this formule:-

overtime hours - 2hours

month - march

basic salary - 8000

No. of working hours in a day - 8hours

Formula - 8000/31(number of days in march)/8(hours in a day)*2(overtime hours)=64.51

plz help..

Hai..

As SAP default that field is not a variable and hence the required functionality cannot be achieved. Other option available is writing a custom PCR... If ur comfortable in writing the pcr pls proceed, else revert back..

But Ram, i am not at all comfortable with writing the PCR.

Plz plz help me.. or suggest some other way to pay the overtime wages...
