Searching for a field by its description

I have to locate a few fields in the R/3 tables but I have only short descriptions of the fields like Tax Amount, Total Amount. How can i search which tables these fields are there in.

Thanks,

Neha

in tx SE11 select Data Type and click match code (or F4).

    Search for Data Element

then u will the a seacrh criteria " Short Description" there put what u want.

When u found a data element check the references in tables. This will tell u wich field of tables uses that data element.

BTW u cant search field of tables, u have to search them trought his data element.
