Work Status changing for Manager once it is approved

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement wherein once manager approves the data and change the work status to approved then manager shouldn't be able to change the work status again. However in my current work status configuration he is able to change it.

Please find below mentioned screen shot of work status config and the Entity hierarchy for work status. Correct me if any thing is wrong.

Please note the below work status behavior-

1) Default is work status wherein no user is allowed to make changes to data.Only Mgr1 can change the work status to STARTED. This work fine

2) Under STARTED work status Owner are allowed to make changes and owner can change the work status to Submitted. This work fine.

3) However when Manager (Mgr1) change the work status to Approved, then Mgr1 should not be allowed to change the work status. However its not working

I agree with Vadim. When MGR1 has set the status to Approved but changes their mind or the User1/User2/User3 request to make another change MGR1 needs to be able to set the status back to Started. How would you deal with this situation if MGR1 was not able to change the status back?

What's wrong with the case when manager changed his mind?

If you see in above case, there are three Mangers (Mgr1,Mgr2 & Mgr3). My requirement was that once Mgr1 (Ireland) approves it, then it should go to Mgr2 (Europe) and then to Mgr3 (Corp).
