calculation procedure Canada, RVAACA or RVAJCA ?

Hi,

for business processes in sales and distribution I need a calculation procedure.

In SPRO exist the schema RVAACA and RVAJCA, CA is the short form for Canada I think.

I'm not sure, which schema should I use.

In IDES-System no sales order and invoices for Canada exist, this is bad.

What I have to do ?

Thanks in advance.

Holger

Hi,

RVAACA and RVAJCA..both are valid for canada. The only difference being in the RVAJCA the procedure is valid for jurisdiction codes. You can see CTXJ jurisdiction code condition type added in the same.

Where as the first one RVAACA is without jurisdiction and uses only CTX1, CTX2 and CTX3 i.e uses only GST and PST.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

is it possible to begin with RVAJCA , but without business processes including jurisdiction codes ? Or I have to change later from RVAACA to RVAJCA, if jurisdiction codes necessary ?

Thanks

Holger

Hi,

Both of them have been built with separate steps in the pricing procedure. If you plan not to use jurisdiction codes now, pls use RVAACA and if you plan to use in future the jurisdiction codes then you can make use of the RVAJCA at that point of time and change the setup later for the pricing procedure determination.

Hope it helps.
