Could you please explain the use of 16 columns in pricing procedure?

Please brief me on the controls you have in pricing condition types?

The description of the 16 steps of the pricing procedure is

STEP: It is to describe the position of the condition type in the pricing procedire

COUNTER: is used for the mini-step for the condition type( for example all the conditions that are of sames class are placed under thec ounter as 0,1,2..

DESCRIPTION: I t is the description of the condition type

CONDITION TYPE: the basic pricing elements are termed as condition tyes

FROM: the range field

TO: the range field

ALT CONDITION TYPE: the value fo the field shws to maintain the condition value without the condition technique

ALT BASE FORMULA: with out using the from and to values we can use them

REQUIREMENT: The formula routine written to restrict the condtition type

MANUAL; if u want to ente the value of the condtition type manually during the order processing

MANDATORY: if u want to enter the value of the condition type mandatorily during the sales order processing theough the condition technique

STATISTICAL: if u check the value of the field then sysem willl not calculate the value of the condition type

PRINT: if u want to print the value of te condtion typed durung the sals order processing

SUB TOTAL; the value of the condition type is captured in the particular table

ACCONTING KEYS: these are used to post the value of the condtition type in to the gl accounts

ACCURALS; the value of this field are used to final settlemtn the amount of the customer for the rebates

step : just give the step number of condition type

counter : its a substep within mainstep

cond type : the pricing condition ( PR00 etc )

Desc ; desc of pricing condition

From & To : its the range for the system to do cummulation of values

Manual : to make a condition as manula entry

Mdt : to ensure the condition value is a must for the sales order

Statistical : used for condtions like VPRS. dont influence the net value calculation

Subtotal : stores condition values in a field and can be used for any further analysis.

requirement : a condition if only satisfied, the pricing condition is executed

alt cal type : to derive a condition value we use a formula

alt cond base value : example, to take volume instead of weight for frieght calculation.

acc key : pricing condition values are transferred to GL accounts based on these account keys

accruals : used for accrual postings like rebates.

its still only birds eye view, however you need to spend time on this to understand. Its very important first to spend time, struggle and then look for some help outside. Its with that conceptual understanding would you be able to do well.
