Employee Photo Restrictions

Hi Experts

There are some questions i want to ask about restrictions while uploading employee pictures. FYI, these photos will be accessed through Employee Self Service and/or Digital Personnel File too:

1. Are there any restrictions on the file type that i can upload? The standard procedure (through archivelink) mentions linking of JPG to HRICOLFOTO. Does this mean that photos in other formats, such as .BMP etc cannot be added? If not, then what is the procedure?

2. Is there any restriction on the file size and dimension? As I wish to link them to ESS and DPF, is there a standard size required and can it be configured?

you need to check this in the application before uploading if you need to restrict on file type then you need to modify the application.
