1) SAP (BusinessObjects) Predictive Analytics is full fledged Statistical Analysis and Data Mining tool that allows building predictive models. There are 2 modes - Automated for Citizen Data Scientist or Business Analysts where used does not need to know &choose machine learning algorithms but can rely on our automated techniques that will generate models for given question & dataset. And Expert Analytics mode for Data Scientists allows building complex models based on various libraries like APL, PAL and R. There is also a component called 'Predictive Factory' under the umbrella of SAP Predictive Analytics which can manage model lifecycle and allow operationlizaiton of both Automated and Expert models automatically.
2) Predictive services are REST Based services that enable developers to deliver Predictive Insights in their application.These ready to be integrated services allow any existing or new SCP/HCP applications to embed predictive analytics features. The services are currently available to SAP Cloud Platform and can be seen SAP API Business Hub.
3) SAP Analytics Cloud (which also offer Predictive analytics) option uses the predictive services to provide smart discovery which enables users to derive insight from their data as part of their Cloud journey. SAC already embeds Predictive services for Outliers detection, key influences and scoring and provide nice visualization to drill down and do simulations directly in existing cloud scenairo.
