Hi,

While accessing the System Monitoring tab in Solution Manager 7.1 Workcenter, I am getting the following error and a dump is thrown. What could be the possible reason for the error and how to resolve the issue. Not getting any note for the same.

Attach Dump for reference.

500 SAP Internal Server Error

Hi

In this case I would start looking for SAP note corrections and also check inside the system itself. It could for example also be a problem of a SAP note implementation that didn't go through completely (due to cancelling or syntax errors or ...).

Error analysis                                                                                    |
| The following syntax error was found in the program |
|     CL_DSWP_SD_WD_ASSIST==========CP :                                                           |
| "Method "GET_STATUS_OF_ALERT" does not exist. The following similarly-n" |
|    "amed methods do exist: "GET_STATUS_OF_PROD_SYST", "GET_LONG_TEXT_OF_AL"                      |
|    "ERT", and "GET_ALL_FUNCTIONS_OF_ALERT"."

This part of the dump is particularly interesting because the system states method "GET_STATUS_OF_ALERT" does not exist.

What you can do now to check is take a look at program CL_DSWP_SD_WD_ASSIST and make sure that there is no inactive (newer version) of this program which is hanging in the system due to unfinished implementation or something similar. Another thing I would do is look for SAP notes containing CL_DSWP_SD_WD_ASSIST and also search for the method itself GET_STATUS_OF_ALERT. Looking for GET_STATUS_OF_ALERT makes me find the below SAP note for example:

2032924 - Self-Diagnosis: Alerts produces incorrect rating in Solution view and XML is generated with incorrect rating for alerts

2032924 - Self-Diagnosis: Alerts produces incorrect rating in Solution view and XML is generated with incorrect rating for alerts

If applicable, you could also try to implement this SAP note and check if it's sufficient to resolve the issue.

So the above gives you some hints in how to look for the root cause, how to check for a possible solution, up to you now to check and come back with feedback ;)

Best regards

Tom
