The following objects have previous versions that are no longer active

I am getting this error for one of my receiver determination when I try to edit and activate it .

The following objects have previous versions that are no longer active: Receiver Determination urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages | HRMD_A.HRMD_A07 | DEHCLNTXXX | * | * Open these objects in the editor and perform a conflict resolution . I am using the IDOC as source .

I try to resolve it by selecting the active version, i got the "Merge relation is null" error.

Any ideas?

About Error in ID Import - "Merge relation is Null"

We have resolved this error by following the steps in Notes 1244596 . As the QA system is build from the production system copy there is some change lists not activated in production was causing the issue.

Satya,

Are you making some change in a QA environment?

There seems to be some Conflict due to Manual changes to a transported object

I am doing this in dev. we have this receiver determination for one receiver and we have extended to 2 receivers. Now we want to remove the extra receiver and activate. I am getting this error while activating after removing the 2nd receiver.

Go to the Objects tab, and then the receiver determinations and try to locate if there are multiple instances of the same receiver determination. I think there are.

Try to open / edit either / both of them and then you will get an option to resolve the conflict coz you have 2 active versions of the same receievr determinations.

Also , this receiver determination is combined with IDOC, we can't create the new combination with the same IDOC .
