Hi.,

In SPRO ,

Sales and Distribution  Master Data - > Define common Destitution Channel.

There is no new entries or copy selection.

How to create new entries here .

Hi Kumar,

When u create & assign Sales org, dist. channel, and division (Sales Area), all the relevant entries are listed automatically.

In VOR1, U just need to go to relevant line of sales order and dist. channel and maintain the appropriate dist. channel in the list.

hi kumar,

in common distribution channel ..there is no need for u create new distribution channel.

here we will the extend the master data to other distribution channels so that it reduces the time and space. That means the master data created for one distribution channel can be used by other distribution chanel.

Hi SK,

If you want a entry in Common Distribution channel do the following:

a) Create a New Distribution channel using IMG> Enterprise Structure> Definition> Sales and Distribution> Define, copy, delete, check distribution channel.

Now assign the same to Sales org using path IMG> Enterprise Structure> Assignment> Sales and Distribution>Assign distribution channel to sales organization AND Set up sales area too.

After doing this automatically entry will come in Common Distribution channel. You can edit the same if required.
