Error while creating new catalog / group in Fiori administration

Hi,

When I try to create a new Catalog / Group, below is the error I see in popup. Before trying to create this new Catalog / Group, an earlier transport that was released is still showing up. We tried clearing server cache, browser cache but with not much success. Have anybody else faced this issue ?

Error (500, Internal Server Error) in OData response for POST "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_CUST/Catalogs": HTTP request failedDetails: An exception was raised.
Request <Transport Request> is already releasedID: /UI2/CX_WD_CFG_TOOL
An exception was raisedID: /UI2/CX_RUNTIME
An exception was raisedID: /IWBEP/CX_MGW_TECH_EXCEPTION

Thanks.

I think, there is a defect from SAP side on this issue. I solved it by assigning an existing catalog to a Transport Request and then added new Catalog/Group to add it again to the same Transport Request. Next, removed the initial catalog which was not required to be collected as part of Transport Request. Issue is, when we release a catalog/group through an TR and consecutively when we create a new Group/Catalog, SAP doesn't release the lock from old TR.

It's an ODATA error. Seems like it's linked to the standard ODATA service for the getting catalogs.

Try to check if the service is activated or working fine in backend by going through the error in ST22 in the gateway server.

Try executing below reports. Hope this will help.

    /UI2/CHIP_SYNCHRONIZE_CACHE
    /UI2/INVALIDATE_CLIENT_CACHES
    /UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES

The service is active and no errors in ST22. We were releasing transport's multiple times. This happened after an existing transport was released and when we try to create a new Catalog/Group. It is more likely due to some cache or bug. Anybody faced this ?
