Hi experts,
when I try to load master data text for a second time I get errors referring to double entries!
How can that happen? I thought Master data is overwritten if it has the same id. The first load was a delta load!
Thanks
hiza
Hi,
yes the texts should be overwritten provided that the source system passes only one record for each master data ID and you have your TRules correctly defined.
- check in the PSA if you have one and only one record per master data ID and eventually language key if your text are language dependent.
- check that your Trules are well defined and the fields correctly mapped.

Olivier.

Hi,
If you are sure about your transfer rules, and finding duplicate entries in PSA, then select 'Ignore Double Data Records' in the 'Update' tab of your Info package

Hello Hiza
Check in flatfile/R3 whether you have 2 ,master data records for the same key with different text...

1st you check the Transfer rules of Text whether it was mapped correctly or not.
Whether it was flat file loading means you need tocheck the records.
If if was from R/3 means check in the source system whether the data is corrcet or not.
Hope it will helps you....
