Implicit Enchancment - Option has disappeared

Hi

I need to enhance Function Module ISU_FINDER in our ECC6 ISU system. I would like to use the implicit enhancement option at the top of the FM, but when I try to display the implicit enhancement options, only the one at the bottom of the FM appears.

I have found an Enhancement implementation in one of our Z-packages in SE80 which was done by another developer and it refers to the following Enhancement Implementation point/section: \FU:ISU_FINDER\SE:BEGIN\EI This looks like the correct one and the code inside seems to be executed. When I change the code inside this enhancement implementation it does not seem to have any effect, however.

When I do a where-used list on this enhancement implementation it takes me to a totally irrelevant program. (The point it navigates to is not even a valid spot for an implicit enhancement to be, and I cannot display it at that point either).

I suspect that the reference between the FM and the enhancement option has been lost. (Program index possibly?) Any ideas where I can look to redefine this link?

Regards

Esti

In SE80, you could try Utilities/Update Navigation Index when you have the objects in question on the screen.

I have occasionally used this when objects did not appear as I expected, and it resolved the problem.

However, it sounds like your problem may be more complex.

    Good luck

      Hi Brian

I have tried this on the likely programs, but it did not seem to make any difference - there are a few more that I'd like to try. As you said, it might be more complex than that.

There seems to be quite a few notes out relating to Implicit enhancement options, which makes me think that it might not be quite stable yet, unfortunately most of them are already implemented via support packs in our system.

      Cheers

The following note should fix this issue:

Note 1087716 - Impliziter Erweiterungspunkt am Begin einer Funktion
