Varient Configuration

Hi All,

I have created some, say CHAR1 n CHAR2 n CHAR3 characteristics and assigned them to the class of type 300.

I have assigned this class to a configurable material.

Now what I want is to check if the CHAR2 and CHAR3 are not initial.

And concatenate then into CHAR1 with Hyphen.

Can someone tell me the syntax for that.

Help needed urgently.

Thanks,

Supriya Manik.

"do something" if CHAR1 is not specified

look for build in condition speciefied

AFAIK there is no reasonable handling of chracters in dependencies, so you have to write a variant function.

I can look an example for that.

    1. Create a Material - KMAT type with Item category (002)

    2. Create Charateristics in CT04 - Ztest, where in values mention the Color of the motor like Red, Blue etc

    3. Assign these two characteristics to a Class in CL01 - Zmotorclass ( Type 300) in characteristics tab page.

    4. Then go to CU41 Configuration profile select the material and enter the description click on the class assignment ie assign Zmotorclass.

    5. Now go back go to extras - Other Dependencies - assignments and assign relationship ( by default it will come just save)

Create sales BOM with usage 5.

When you create the sales order for the header material, you will find the options coming up.
