We are on x86-64bit Win2003, installing Netweaver 2004/ADS and using the Interactive Forms scenario.
While everything is working fine on our 32bit machines. We're having issues accessing ADS forms on this server.
Analyzing the errors we've found that xmlform.exe (and may be some more .exe's) are missing from this server. I have performed a reinstallation that doesn't seem to make a difference.
The location where the file should exist is: <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\os_libs\adssap\XMLFormService
I have tried following notes that describe renaming adssap to adssap.old and restarting the engine. It does manage to get the directory structure back but not the required .exe's
I have been searching for days but have found no resolution to this, I have confirmed with PAM that I am on a supported 64bit installation.
Can someone on Win2003 x86-64 please send me xmlform.exe or better still zip up the adssap folder and email?
I would be very very grateful if someone was to oblige.
My email address is on my profile page:<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.sdn.businesscard.sdnbusinesscard?u=64ahkxholp4%3d">profile page</a>
If you have problems finding my mail address please update the thread and I'll reply back ASAP. thnx again.

Dezso, Thanks again for your replies.
I have reinstalled the entire system and patched it to 20 but no joy.
xmlform.exe still does not exist.
Also the PAM (latest download as of today or any SAP note) doesn't have any documentation regarding the platform being supported with patch 20.
Can you assist?
Thanks again

Hello Kevin,
have you also applied SP20 version of ADS? ADSSAP_OFF and ADSSAP ?
Please tell me what do you see when you execute the report: FP_PDF_TEST_00
This should return you the version number of the ADS.
From this number I can tell you wether you have the correct version of ADS deployed.
Best regards,
Dezso
Aaah, a reply delayed by a day...
We've had a huge rethink and spent a lot of money to get new servers and get onto 64bit NW2004s ... The entire project code (or whatever is required to) is being re-written and will be meshed in the new servers that I'm working on now.
Looking back, I did apply the patch 20 of ADS (the two SCA's that SAP ship)
I was on BASIS & APPL patch 20. J2EE patch 20 and ADS 20 when we scrapped the machine yesterday evening.
SAP did confirm that they do not support 64bit on NW2004 as of yet, which I think, is a very irresponsible way to treat their customers.
Thanks for all your messages.
I did and the reply I got from SAP was:
Thank you for contacting SAP support.
ADS is not supported for NW 64bit platforms on windows, the following
sre supported:
Adobe Document Services 32 bit supported platforms:
Windows 2000 server on IA32 32bit
Windows 2003 server on IA32 32bit
Regards
(I don't want to put anyone's name on an open forum... name deleted)
I would've been able to answer that yesterday, as in one of my previous messages: we trashed the system yesterday.
1. I couldn't find xmlform.exe
2. No documentation (PAM or otherwise) confirms that SAP supports x86_64 with SP20
3. SAP confirmed via a customer message that 2004 is not supported
4. Our project timelines do now allow us any wasted minutes and we are looking at a version change!
