CFM Migration

We want to make an upgrade from TR-TM in 4.6 to CFM in the same version. In the migration guide, it appears as Conversion Type 1, but it says its obsolete. Is it obsolete because the programs don't run anymore or is it obsolete because CFM is no longer available in the new versions of SAP ERP?

Is there additional advice we have to know?

Hi,

the version CFM1.0 (what you would like to upgrade to) is not any longer supported by SAP. So it would make absolutely no sense to upgrade from 4.6 to CFM. Even this was the first add-on for CFM. I would advise you to upgrade at least to CFM2.0 although this is a very old version too. At the moment the latest version is for ECC6.0 or ERP2005 which is based on the technical background of Enterprise 2.0 (with parallel valuation areas and so on).

Indeed, we want to migrate to CFM 2.0

Since there are no plans for a complete migration (the system will keep running in 4.6C, we want to migrate only TR-TM to CFM 2.0 in the same system. Is it possible to migrate to TRM in 4.6C? In other words, is a further version available to run in 4.6c?
