Hi,
Can someone help me understand the report got out of MB5L transaction. It has the following columns
Materials Crcy Stock Account Crcy Variance Crcy
My questions are
1. What is the difference between materials crcy and stock account crcy?
2. What is the use of this report?
Thanks for your help.

Hello Ram,
Here's some info from SAP.
Variances can occur for the following reasons:
1. You have entered postings to the stock account manually.
2. The stock account includes not only stock postings, but also other postings. In this case, you should check the account determination in the Customizing for Valuation and Account Assignment. Make sure that the stock accounts are used solely for the transaction key BSX (stock postings).
3. The account assignment for the stock accounts (transaction key BSX) was changed during productive operation; the respective stocks, however, were not deducted from the old account (movement type 562) and posted to the new one (movement type 561).
Hope this helps.
Cheers !

Hello,
1. Materials Crcy is stock value of the materials specified and Stock Account Crcy is balance of the G/L account for the materials.
2. Reprot is used to check stock value is equal to the G/L account.
Cheers !
